I’ve been thinking a lot about emotions this month as I continue to walk people through them and inviting Jesus to heal.
Further, I too found myself feeling a ton of emotions as I had to process several events and environments and therefore, I walked through this myself.
An emotion wheel is helpful to see the thread of what can be causing specific emotions…
Again, here’s the helpful process when we do this with the Lord…
as described in: ‘God, Show Me More of You’
Naming our emotions is merely step 1.
Don’t bottle up the emotions, but instead…
Pour out your heart to the Lord:
“Trust God, my friends, and always tell him each of your concerns. God is our place of safety.” – Psalm 62:8 CEV

(Journal what comes… Don’t kink the hose…)
…
God, thank you that you are here with me, that you invite me to seek your wisdom.
God, I feel… (pour it all out…)
God, what do you want me to know?
God, how do you want to BE what I need?
God, how are you inviting me to pray?
God, is there anything you’re inviting me to do?
…
Again, journal what comes.
Test out what you hear as we’ve learned in: ‘God, Show Me More of You’
…
