Recently, we took our women in the Freedom Coaching Circle through the Redemptive Gifts based off of Romans 12 and teaching from Arthur Burk.
It has always been a game changer to discover one’s own gifts and how to walk in them fully!
Learning how to bless our spirits has been yet another game changer and is shared about it in the book: “God, Show Me More of You” in the chapter entitled: Blessing that Shifts Atmospheres. (This is the book that shares what began to shift when someone first blessed my spirit and how much my life and the lives of those I led also shifted.)
This, below, is what happened when I recently sought to craft a Spirit blessing prayer for each Redemptive Gift:
These basic prayers below are crafted to call forward the original design, birthright, and destiny of each gift. They focus on affirming a person’s God-given identity and inviting alignment with Heaven’s purpose.
⸻
Let me back up if this is all new to you:
Arthur Burk teaches that the seven Redemptive Gifts found in Romans 12:6-8 are not merely talents or personality types. They are lenses through which a person experiences the world and reflects a unique aspect of God’s nature. Every person has one primary redemptive gift that shapes their design, strengths, vulnerabilities, and Kingdom assignment.
The following blessing prayers are designed to help you understand the heart of each gift while calling a person’s spirit into alignment with their God-given birthright and destiny.
Further background:
We humans have a spirit, soul and body. When we live with our spirit in communion with Holy Spirit and leading the way, incredible fruit comes.
So, we pray for people’s spirits to be healthy and prominent, in front of their souls and bodies. And if we get it out of order – living by our thoughts or emotions or wills (souls) leading, our lives suffer, including our bodies.
(See Galatians 5).
When the prayers below read: “Spirit, I bless you…” it is referring to the spirit of the person whom you are praying for. You can even pray: “Spirit of ____(name), I bless you…”
