New Year Reflection – Journaling

New year reflection questions:

Take some time to pause with the Lord, without distraction.

Grab your Bible, paper, pen, a cup of tea or coffee…

Join me…

Reflecting Back:

God, how were you shaping me this past year?

God, what gift were you producing in me?

God, were there any new skills you prompted me to develop?

God, what people, passions, and resources did you provide for me?

God, how did you and I partner together?

God, are there any hard things that I yet need to ask you for help with?

Let God show you the bigger picture. (My word this past year was ‘higher’!)

Give thanks to Him.

Release any burdens to Him.

Looking Forward:

God, what promise do you want to highlight to me for the year ahead?

Write what comes.

Dialogue with Him, thank Him…

Speak aloud the promise over yourself. (This is just the beginning…)

Enjoy further this guided prayer of walking away from the year and into the new!
