A good example is the best form of teaching. But, being a good example is less about trying harder and more about allowing God to transform your character. Trying harder often leads to failure. Look at Peter (thankfully God brought him back and chose to use him to spread good news). And spending time with Him is not the fool proof solution either. Look at Judas. He hung with him and yet betrayed him. No, it requires complete heart, soul, mind and strength surrender. And when we mess up, and come running back to Him, He’s always there to pick us up. Look at the Prodigal Son.

Jesus is the best example. He went to the cross for us and lay down His life for us so that we could have personal relationship with our loving Creator. He gave us the best form of teaching. He taught us to love others even our enemies. And not only taught it – He lived it. Imagine if the world actually obeyed that teaching and example. That would be revolutionary. A good example which could lead to a revolution.
