Word of Encouragement: Trust & Resist

TRUST AND RESIST

My beloved child,

I know the trials you face are difficult, and they can often seem overwhelming. But I am calling you to trust Me and not be afraid. Every challenge, every hardship, is not meant to break you. Use them to build your trust in Me. Think of them as exercises designed to develop your trust-muscles, to strengthen your faith and reliance on My strength.

You are living in the midst of a fierce spiritual battle, and fear is one of the enemy’s favorite weapons against you. But remember this: when you begin to feel afraid, that is the moment to affirm your trust in Me. Declare it boldly, even out loud if you can. The enemy cannot stand against My Name.

As it is written, “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).

When you resist him, he has no choice but to slink away from you, defeated and powerless.

I want you to refresh yourself in My holy Presence. When fear tries to take hold, speak or sing praises to Me, for I inhabit the praises of My people. As you do this, My Face will shine radiantly upon you, and My peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind.

Never forget this truth: “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:1-2).

Choosing to live IN ME, you have been judged NOT GUILTY for all eternity. The weight of guilt and shame has been lifted from you, and you are free to walk in the fullness of life that I offer you.

So, trust Me, and don’t be afraid. I am your Strength, your Song, and your Salvation.

As it is written in Isaiah 12:2, “Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.”

I will carry you through every storm, and I will be your unshakable foundation. Lean on Me, for I am always with you, and I will never leave you nor forsake you.
