Following and Trusting : Encountering God Out of the Box

Dear one, hear the word of the Lord today. You are not who the world says you are, but who the Lord has declared you to be.

From 1 Peter 2, God says to you…

I have called you out of darkness and into My marvelous light, and you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, My own special possession. You are no longer defined by the failures, rejections, or labels of the past. You are My treasured ones, set apart to declare the praises of Him who has called you out of the shadows and into His glorious light.

As you stand upon the cornerstone of My Son, Jesus Christ, know that you are being built up into a spiritual house. Each one of you, like living stones, has been intricately placed in this divine structure. Though the world may reject you, I have chosen you, and your worth is beyond measure in My sight.

I am calling you to live differently. You are to be set apart, holy and consecrated, for you are not of this world. Lay aside every hindrance—the malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander—that seeks to entangle you. Instead, crave pure spiritual milk, that you may grow up in your salvation and fully taste the goodness of the Lord.

Remember, beloved, that you are sojourners and exiles here. This world is not your home, and its ways are not your ways. I call you to abstain from the desires of the flesh that wage war against your soul. Let your conduct among those who do not know Me be honorable, that they may see your good deeds and glorify Me on the day I visit.

In the face of trials, persecution, or rejection, do not lose heart. I have chosen you for such a time as this. Though you may be misunderstood or even despised by others, stand firm in your identity in Christ. You are a people of purpose, and your life is a testimony of My grace and power.

Declare My praises boldly, for you are My ambassadors in this world. Shine brightly in the darkness, for you carry My light within you. As you submit to My will, you will see My hand move mightily in your life and in the lives of those around you.

Know this, My children: You are loved, you are called, and you are Mine. Walk in the truth of who you are in Me, and let your life be a beacon of hope, drawing others to My unfailing love.
