God, I pray for my country of Canada on her birthday today! Thank you for the freedom we enjoy. May we be wise stewards of it, careful to show your love and light to those around us. Protect our leaders, policemen, firemen, doctors and nurses, peacekeepers, teachers, moms, dads, pastors, volunteers… all those given responsibility to care, protect and teach. Thank you for the past year of blessings and we look to your promise that you will never leave us as we move forward and live in light of what’s coming! Open our hearts and minds to know, love and long for your truth and will in our lives, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for our freedom so that we could live! Amen.
