Following and Trusting : Encountering God Out of the Box

People only accept discipline or criticism in their lives when they feel loved. Too often we burn people out or even push loved ones away when we neglect filling people’s emotional tanks before we offer a word of advice or criticism (or worse we offer advice but no help). Problem is… this is contagious. So often: if we are criticized by others, we can easily become critical of others. The trick is to stop the madness. It means loving those who are hard to love… and that requires Divine patience.
