Watch, learn, act.

Watch for God at work. Do not miss Him as the world does as it dozes with day-dreaming, self-pity, gluttony, boredom, fighting,… Lost is the opportunity to be alert to God at work, alert through renewal, reading, prayer, teaching, service to the needy, justice and peace-making… Keep awake and watch. Learn all you can about God wanting to do good in and through you, in the world around you, and be ready to act on His call each moment.

Do not be caught sleeping.

Are you awake, alert and waiting for God? Ready at any moment for an assignment or appointment?

“Keep watch! Stay awake! You do not know when that time will come. It’s like a man going away. He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge. Each one is given a task to do. He tells the one at the door to keep watch. “So keep watch! You do not know when the owner of the house will come back. It may be in the evening or at midnight. It may be when the rooster crows or at dawn. He may come suddenly. So do not let him find you sleeping. “What I say to you, I say to everyone. ‘Watch!’ ” (Mark 13:33-37 NIRV)

“So keep watch. You do not know on what day your Lord will come. (Matthew 24:42 NIRV)
